Hi all!
Just got another copy of D2 and LoD after a good 6 years away from it.
I also lost my old d2jsp account :'( which I'm pretty upset about (2004 join date).

Anyway, as a triumphant return to the greatest PC game ever (imo), I decided to start with my favorite build: the PvM Zealot.
I've seen a lot of people recommend certain weapons for this build, and a lot of debate over which is the best one.

I'd like to get opinions from you all (the best diablo community around) as to what weapon you would choose and why.

I'm playing on USEast softcore ladder, currently level 31, and I basically have next to nothing so far to speak of.
Let's assume though that money is not an object, as I just want to know what to eventually strive for.

So some of the popular choices I've heard are:
Ebotdz
Edeathz
GriefPB
Eth Death Cleaver
Demon Limb
Silence (not sure what weapon)

Now, some of those are budgetary options and I understand that, but the front-runners seem to be:
Ebotdz
Edeathz
GriefPB
and the Silence seems pretty good to me too

I'm concerned about the dex requirement on the Phase Blade, but if it's worth it then I don't have a problem with it.

So basically I would just like some reasoning as to why there is such a debate; why do people prefer one over the other in a PvM situation?
I remember years ago I used BotD, but I can't remember what weapon.

i have a pvm zealot atm and im using grief pb i have no problems at all killing stuff but i havent tried anything else

One other one I forgot to mention, is Hand of Justice worth considering?
The IAS, Ignore Defense, Freeze, LL, and Deadly Strike all seem enticing.

There is no better pvm weapon the grief pb.
It gives you your zeal breakpoints instantly has deadly strike and does 400 dmg.

The only upgrade would be a ridiculous cruels for dmg or a god pb.

Eth cleaver are nb options but serve purpose elsewhere when grief is not gm.

Phase blade -30 with 40ias (grief) + level fana hits 8 frames

Death runeword is the best weapon for pvm zealer. the reason: 50%ds 50%cb etheral 400%ed
zerk and ettin are the possible bases for death
zerk is better imo

Grief pb is a great weapon too. the reason: 400dmg. it's the best for raw dmg but has no cb and little ds

other weapons ain't worth considering. ofc you can beat the game with plenty of weapons, but they are not as good as theses ones.

If you decide to go 2-handed zealer, which grants massive damage, then you want death colossus sword or colossus blade

laying of hands (20ias 350%demon ed)

1* rare dual leech ring

Yup I know he's talking pvm.
Just informing that the other weapons listed are useful, grief is just superior in pvm.

Nope, eDeath is superior in pvm.
