What is a Singer barb?
A Singer Barbarian is a Barbarian that uses the skill War Cry to stun lock opponents. He is also a character built to tank any damage thrown at him.
He is a very good for Team vs Team duels.


The How:
Main objective: Level 93 with skill quests done.
Battle Order: 20
War Cry: 20
Battle Cry: 20
Taunt: 20
Shout: 1
Leap: 1
Natural Resistance: 1 (Naturally)
Iron Skin: 1
Howl: Up to 20. Any extra points go here.

The Why:
War Cry: Main damage skill.
Battle Cry: Synergy, also lowers defense and damage of opponents.
Taunt: Synergy
Shout: Defense Boost, Pre-Req.
Leap: Knock back, Tele-Stomp strategy
Iron Skin: Extra defense increase.
Howl: Synergy

Stats:
Strength: As little as possible. Enough to wear gear.
Dexterity: Enough for Max block.
Vitality: Everything Else
Energy: Are you insane? None.

Breakpoints:
105 FCR
Why: 200 FCR is too high of a breakpoint for the 1 less frame. 105 Works fine.
200 FCR also forces you to use two Wizardspikes, crippling the Singer vs All Build.

86 FHR: Escape. Enough Said.

The What:

Helm: Barbarian Helm with: 3 Warcries, 3 Battle Orders, Life, and Open Sockets. Socket with a FHR/Strength/Dex/Mana Jewel, or a Jah rune.
Example:



Amulet: 2 Barb/17+FCR/20dex/Life/Mana. FCR to bit breakpoint, Dex for Max Block. Life and Mana are always a plus.

Weapons: Wizardspike with Open Socket. Socket it with a FHR/Strength/Dex/Mana Jewel. Heart Of The Oak.
Wizardspike: FCR Breakpoint, Resistance, Mana. Hoto: FCR, Life Rep.

Shield: Perfect base defense Stormshield. Socketed with an Eld. (Saves Dex)
Armor: Low Strength Requirement Enigma.

Belt: Arachnid Mesh. Skill, FCR.

Boots: 25 Dex Shadow Dancers, Sandstorm Treks, FRW/FHR/Res Boots
Shadow Dancers: Dex. Treks: Vita. Rare Boots: Resists & FHR.

Gloves: Magefists: FCR, Mana Regen. Trangs: FCR, Cold Res.

Rings: 20 Dex Raven, Bul-Kathos', Stone of Jordan, FCR/Dex/Life/Mana/Resist Ring.


Singer Vs Melee / All.
Helm: See above.
Amulet: 2 Barb/17+FCR/20dex/Life/Mana.
Armor: Enigma
Boots: Shadow Dancers.
Gloves: Mages / Trangs
Rings: 20 Dex Raven, FCR/Dex/Life/Mana/Resist Ring.
Weapon: Wizardspike
Shield: Stormshield

Singer Vs Caster
Helm: See above
Amulet: 2 Barb/17+FCR/20dex/Life/Mana.
Armor: Enigma
Boots: Sandstorm Treks / FRW/FHR/Res Boots.
Gloves: Mages / Trangs
Rings: 2x Soj / 2x BK / 1x Soj + 1x BK.
Weapons: Dual Hoto / Dual Wizardspike.

Inventory:
20/20 Barb Torch
20/20/x Anni
Warcry Lifer GC's
FHR Warcry GC's
20 Life / 17 Mana SC's
5 FHR / 17 Mana SC's

Comments
There are many advantages, in using a singer barb, but there are also disadvantages just like any other dueling character, I find dueling hammerdins, and smiters are my only challenge. i like singer barbs, but being brutally honestly if your not 200 fcr dont even bother making this character

u should show a picture with ur dmg/life stats against melee/casters etc with what lvl attack etc ;)

seems like a decent different char, get bored of same old crap

i also would think 200 fcr >

200 fcr sorcs are always very fun, would be even funner w/ a barb warcrying i guess :P

No, not correct, 200 fcr sacrifices the max block, and upon this happening, bowas, bvcs, and charge > you, therefore, making you the equivalent of a glass cannon.

I have 7 k life 1k mana mb and about 1.6-1.7k warcry damage :)

200fcr gives you no flexability in gear and you went as versatile rendering the barb useless and not a tank

I totaly agree he has seen my character all melée vs me are almost useless lol

Looks solid. I saw a guy on east (could be you, don't remember his name) but after he would WC stun you, he would switch to en ebotdz and zerk you real fast xD
