~ Duelling Strategies ~In the following section I may advice you to run. Every single time you're running away, you should do the "wesc-running" which is to press w constatly while running. This way mindblast, and some other heavy stun-attacks won't work!
~ Amazons ~BowamazonDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: Against easier bowzons 163/99 / 44 % dr is okay as well.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5 Wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: Facing bowamazon's shouldn't bee too much of a challenge. Tele round your target, making sure you're not getting hit by any multi arrows, and then as you get closer, do a namelock and nado her down. She'll probably run, but just chase her / namelock her till she dies. Take care. Though you have maxblock and the bowama doesn't hit you that much, it really really hurts when she finally does, therefore stick to my tactic.
Javelin AmazonDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: You could use Thundergods against this Charactor!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5 Wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: Imo Javelin Amazon are even easier than bowamazons. If you're getting hit by lightning fury I suggest you to precast your summons, and your cyclone armor. else just rush and namelock them.
Farcast Javelin AmazonDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: You could use Thundergods against this Charactor!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5 Wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: Same tactics. she's not nessecarily harder, just make sure not getting damaged too much on your cyclone armor before you attack. Just rush them, do some nados and feel the victory.
~ Assasins ~Trap AssasinDifficulty: Very Hard
Setup: 163/99
Additional: You could use Thundergods against this Charactor!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5 Ravens
Strategy: Trap Assasin is one of the biggest threat a druid will ever face. If there's anybody saying different, he's a lier. This is caused the bad frames on fhr on the druid, even when using 99 fhr you'll only manage to get 6 frames per second, which isn't enough to "Tele" away from the assasin. Therefore you should try to tele round the assasin, dodging any of her traps and if you're getting hit, respawn summons + cyclone armor. When you're stunned by mindblast, don't try to tele away, it's simply impossible. Run away in stead of teling! Running is an instant action and has no delay, compared to tele which in this instance has a delay on 10 frames. Additioned with the fhr delay, it's 16 frames before you're able to get away, though when running, it's only 6 frames. Play defensive against this charactor, don't rush, wait for the Assasin to make a mistake and then don't hesitate to namelock and nado her, however if the Assasin manage to make traps before you did the namelock you should flee, and redo the whole interfere!
Ww AssasinDifficulty: Very hard
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: if you face a Wwsin public, use 163/99 in stead.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5 wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: A good wwsin can actuall deal out a lot of damage, however most wwsins are newbs who made a 100 fg budget wwsin, thinking they stand a chance public, though they don't. Namelock them, and get rid of them. Sadly, there are some who's a bit more clever. Most of these clever individuals uses Wake of Fire, which is the worst kind of a trap a druid could ever face. This combined with mindblast + the stupid shadow master is like hell, you simply can't get away UNLESS you walk, not teleport. Run away in stead of teling. Running is an instant action and has no delay, compared to tele which in this instance has a delay on 11 frames. Additioned with the fhr delay, it's 17 frames before you're able to get away, though when running, it's only 6 frames. Try to avoid their traps a much as possible, and when chance shows up, namelock and hope for the best. There aren't many good wwsins on the realm though, which is why I've given the rate: Easy - Medium.
Hybrid AssasinDifficulty: Very hard
Setup: 163/99 / 2 druid / 20 fcr / BerBer circ
Additional: if the trap damage is overwhelming, use thundergods!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, grizzly, 5 Ravens
Strategy: This charactor is probably the worst charactors a druid could ever meet. Most people playing hybrid know what they're doing since they're damn hard to play without experience, so when you finally meet one, you have to be an exceptional dueller like me (: to defeat them. Imo it's simple. They're probably placing traps, and waiting for you to attack. Don't get hit by the traps, but tele round the sin, and make her traps disappear by shooting at you. WHen she's recasting them, do a quick namelock on her and spam some tornados. This'll probably make her whirlwind away, and when she starts whirlwinding, flee, recast summons and cyclone armor, and redo this. IF you're getting caught by her at it seems impossible to flee, don't try to tele away. Run away in stead of teling. Running is an instant action and has no delay, compared to tele which in this instance has a delay on 11 frames. Additioned with the fhr delay, it's 17 frames before you're able to get away, though when running, it's only 6 frames.
~ Necromancer ~Bone NecromancerDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: A necromancer should be kind of easy. 90 % of all necromancers are randoms who don't know a fuck about how to play them, however the last 10 % could be quite annoying. The necromancer has really no advantage against you, except his bonespear, which hits you whether you've got summons to protect you or not. Most necros use teeth to get rid of the summons, and then bone spear, to kill you. take care for the spears, they really do hurt. Every time your summons are getting killed, flee and recast them... If the necro follows, do a quick counterattack, and spam some tornados on him. If you by some accident got stunned by the necro, "RUN" away from him. Read why in the questions section.
Poison NecromancerDifficulty: Very Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5 Ravens
Strategy: Any druidplayer getting killed by a poison necro, doesn't deserve to play druid. I've never met any poison necro, doing enough damage to kill me. He cannot hit you, as long you've got your summons by your side, and your lovely oak is immune to poison, which is quite usefull here. No tactics really, just namelock the necro, and when your summons are dead, teleport till you're in a safe distance to him, and recast you summons. Cyclone armor has no effect on poison btw.
~ Barbarian ~Bvc / Bva'sDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: Vs. barbs with lot's of LL%, use Grizzly, in order not to heal them by attacking.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Most Barbarians shouldn't be too much of a problem. They're kind of easy killing when using maxblock. Don't get afraid by their leap. Namelock, spam some nados, tele away, recast summons and redo this interfere. This is a fast and easy way to kill them. Don't namelock them while they're teling, but just right after.
BvB'sDifficulty: Very Easy
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: These kind of barbs are way too easy to kill. Most of them haven't even got enigma, and those who do, has 0 % Fcr. Tele around, make tornados in their direction, and don't get hit by their ww. When they're running low of health points, you can namelock them and finish them off!
~ Paladin ~Smiters'sDifficulty: Moderate
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Smiters can be pretty deadly if you're letting them get close enough to smite you, so don't. You've got maxblock, so their charges will be no harm to you at all. Tele round, make them nl you or your summons, do some tornados in their directions, and tele another place doing the same. Make sure not to let him smite when he/if he hit you. Against smite you should play more and more defensive as he's loosing more and more life, cause if he's low, he'll probably try to nl your summons, to get lifetap, and this must not happen, however it's impossible to resist sometimes. Also care for the tele smiters. Tele away if any smiter telesmites you, else this will do alot of dmg in no time.
Charger'sDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Chargers are pretty Easy. Most of them not using exile for life tap, so you don't have to worry about them getting lifetap on your summons. Oftenly they won't hit, caused by your maxblock, however if you've got no summons to protect you, you'll probably be dead anyway, since the charger will hit you once or two times. Without Oak, one hit is enough to kill you, esle two hits are enough. Don't be afraid to namelock the charger, it has a very good effect. He might hit you once, though he cannot escape, cause running away makes him charge your Summons. Also when you namelock, he's too close to you to charge, so it'll just be normal attack till he finds out that you're on him and he flees. Do some nados and this duel should be over.
v/tDifficulty: Easy - Moderate
Setup: 99/99 - Maxblock
Additional: none
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: V/T is pretty much like smiter, just a bit weaker. Their Foh's does simply no damage at all, so don't mind it at all. Stick with same tactics as against smiter, don't get hit by smite, it still hurts though it's a V/T. wait for them to namelock you, spam tornados in their direction, and do NOT get caught by him. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though.
Foh'sDifficulty: VERY easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: Use Tg's if you're a big newb.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: There's no strategy facing foh's. They blow more than you could ever imagine against you. No damage at all. Namelock, and kill. That's my advice.
HammerdinDifficulty: Very easy - Moderate
Setup: 163/99
Additional: If the hammerdin is using grief on second hand, you should use 99/99 maxblock setup.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, 5* wolves, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Hammerdins can be pretty tough, though most are pubduellers. When you ever meet a tough one you should play defensive, even though you got the advantage. One mistake and you're dead in stead of the hammer. It's not problem hurting the hammerdins in the beginning. They'll probably try to get rid of your summons, and then do a namelock. As they play offensive, do some quick namelocks, do two - three tornados, and then flee in order to recast your summons. If the hammerdin follows you, which is quite different, tele, then make one wolf, tele, one wolf etc. untill you got 3 wolves. With at least 3 wolves you can let him namelock you, and do another two tornados on him. As the hammer gets lower and lower healthpoints, he'll play more and more defensive, and this is where it's dangerous. They'll stand on the same spot, only moving inches in order to get rid of any blind spot there may be. You should simply tele round him and wait till moves out of the hammer area, then namelock him and hunt him. Don't hunt him without summons, cause two hammers is enough to kill you, even when he has only 500 life or less left.
AuradinDifficulty: Very easy - Impossible
Setup: 163/99
Additional: If it's a bugged auradin you don't stand a chance, join a new duelgame.
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Depends a lot on whether the auradin is bugged or not. You don't stand a chance if he's bugged simply. Your summons + cyclone armor is down in one aurahit, and you're dead in another one. If the auradin isn't bugged there's no other tactic than to cast oak, ravens, poison creaper and grizzly, and then to rush the charector, hoping to get a clear shot. It's a waste recasting summons since they die just after, however recast cyc as often as possible.
~ Soceress ~Fireball socreressDifficulty: Hard
Setup: 163/99
Additional: Use hotties + 2 druid / 20 fcr / Life / shael circlet
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Fb sorc is the best type of sorc. against druid. she does a lot of damage, and mostly one fb is enough to clear all summons, take away cyclone armor and even still do round 500 damage. Therefore it's VERY important NOT getting hit by the soceress before namelocking her. Most sorcs are strong, and think they can tank you, though with this build they're getting tanked big time if you're both staying same spot. They'll probably waste the first duel dying, till they find out you aren't that bad. Afterwards they try to engage your namelock, and shoot from distance. Your tactic would be to tele round the map not getting hit, namelock the soceress and spam nados hope she won't tele away. You might loose a bit life, though no more than half. If the sorc doesn't die by the first namelock, keep rushing her as fast as you can when her mana is low, else it's kind of impossible killing her. Of course not all sorcs are good, not even 25 % is, but there are some though.
Blizzard sorceressDifficulty: Easy - Moderate
Setup: 163/99
Additional: Change bugbelt with arach 120 % ed, and change the circlet with 2 dru / 3 nado / 1 volcano / 20 fhr pelt
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Druids have a big advantage against blizzard sorcs, and they know... Often they play def, making blizz on the selves and spamming ice blast all over however. tele round making the Soceress move a bit around. When she teles on a spot, namelock her and make tornados before she's able to make blizzard on the top of herself. If she doesn't die by this, redo the whole interfere. Since you're using pelt with 1 volcano, go use it. Volcano has no other function than stunning the sorceress. Have volcano attack on an attack, do volcano, namelock and do nados. You'll find Volcano is VERY effective!
Orb socreressDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: Change bugbelt with arach 120 % ed, and change the circlet with 2 dru / 3 nado / 1 volcano / 20 fhr pelt
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Orb soceress doesn't do a lot of damage though it's really fustrating because you have to recast summons over and over again. Since you're using pelt with 1 volcano, go use it. Volcano has no other function than stunning the sorceress. Have volcano attack on an attack, do volcano, namelock and do nados. You'll find Volcano is VERY effective! - Remember to recast cyclone armor, else the orb might hurt a bit
Lightning sorceressDifficulty: Very easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: Change bugbelt with arach 120 % ed, and change the circlet with 2 dru / 3 nado / 1 volcano / 20 fhr pelt
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Light sorceress aren't hard at all. They often to charged bolts to kill your summons, however just respawn em', you'll be fine. You have two options. Use volcano from your pelt to stun them, namelock and tornado them, or you can simply "namelock-by-tele". Namelock by tele is when they tele you tele on them same time, and then spam nados. Most aren't quick enough to discover they're almost dying, so they'll die before they can resist. A lightning sorceress will play defensive for any matter, as she has no chance to match your attack frames with her lightning since it's only 11 frames attack, so gogo rush her a bit.
~ Druid ~Shapeshift druidDifficulty: Extremely easy
Setup: 163/99 or 99/99 / maxblock
Additional: Gear doesn't matter, this is mf char!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Any Wind druid losing against a shapeshift druid should quit the druid immediately! This charector is so easy that you don't need a tactic, cept not namelocking. Don't EVER namelock a shape druid, that's equal to suicide.
FiredruidDifficulty: Easy
Setup: 163/99
Additional: hotspurs may be usefull if you're newp (:
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: Any fire druid should be very easy to defeat. I've only met one guy ever playing fire druid as a pvp charector 4 real, and that's my self. believe it or not, my firedruid pwns however. All firedruids blows kind of hard. Often they do crap damage, so it's not even nessecary to use hotties or anything, however if they're skilled, statted and has the right gear they're able to do a lot of damage, though if you use hots they don't stand a chance. Just rush them, don't let make volcanos on you, this kill your entire summons, and then you start to loose life. Also Volcano has some physical damage that Cyclone armor can't absorb, which makes Volcano to an attractive skill for these kind of druids.
Wind DruidDifficulty: Extremely Easy - Extremly Hard
Setup: 163/99 - 44 % dr
Additional: Be defwhore!
Summons: Oak, Poison Creeper, Grizzly, 5* Ravens
Strategy: All bad eledruid players hate these duels, however we are some who enjoy them mostly. Some people says it's pure luck, I say different. Druid vs druid is about patience. If you namelock the opponent, you're dead. Anyway here's my tactic. Usually I teleport round, spamming nados in their direction. Often they hit one of the nados which damage them, however the smarter onces dodge easily. You have two options against wind druids. (1) tele behind them, do two nados against them, and then tele to a safer distance again, or (2) do a namelock-by-tele, which is to tele on your opponent in the same second he teles and the spam nados, hope he wasn't expecting the move. Usually I use tactic (1), since it's the most safe. If you're standing in front of each other spamming nados, you should do 2 - 3 - 4 -5 nados, depends on how close you are, and then simply run away from him, since this is a faster way to get away than teleporting. Read why in the Question and Pictures section.
