#1. Gambling

everyone knows nothing maters when gambling except CLVL everyone knows this however i am about to tell you otherwise

sorry but i will not be going into detail, but i think that the game you are gambling in maters, i think some games are better to gamble in then others

example... lets say you have 100 billion gold

if you gamble 1 billion gold in a game, and you are seeing very low rate of rares and your really getting very " unlucky " if you continue to gamble that other 99 billion in that game, your going to continue to be "unlucky"
and have poor rates

if you gamble 1 billion gold in a game and you are seeing medium-high rate of rares and your getting very " lucky " if you continue to gamble that other 99 billion in that game your going to continue to be " lucky "
and have good rates

this is what i recommend, i basically recommend only gambling high amounts of gold, the reason being is you need to have a high amount of gold to see if the game is " hot " or " cold " the more gold you have
the better 100-200 million for example.... you really only want to be gambling 1-2 million per game maximum to try to determine the rate and prehapse even the prefix's that are falling on the items both magical and rare

once you have located a game you then want to gamble in it, i have alot more details on this but i want to keep this very short as im excited about a more untested MF guide below.

im going to start this with a story so maybe it will help explain why i think what i think as this im unsure about

well basically i use to have meph glitchers(chars who didnt have meph quest) and i would always mess up, get them quested like, and have to restart them
well... after restarting them so many times (i would kill hell meph at level 25 via trench) it almost seemed as if not 100% gaurenteed but it would almost seem as if
i would find better items, more often, as i was leveling, basically meaning as i leveled up, i would find less items, sure sure, once i was 85, i could grind out meph for hoursss
and find a decent item still, sure, but.... i thought during the leveling process of 25-75 where i was going through levels very quickly, it seemed as if i was finding items that
were better at a much higher rate sort of like a few decent items per level type deal, well after reach 70-75-80 the leveling starts to go sooooooo slow at meph it almost seemed
as if finding decent items had slowed so i started to think of some sort of like... " birthday drop " system where clearly this system isnt real but sure felt like it and it wouldnt always happen
in the first few mephs but within 10 runs or so of leveling sure enough ussually there would be something that stuck out.... compared to when i hit 80+ doing hundereds of runs and nothing really
sticking out

so all this made me think of basically remaking my meph glitcher and starting all over once i reached to high of a level and basically doing 25-70 and restarting 25-70 and restarting 25-70 and restarting
so i could get more " birthday drops "

now thats basically it one thing before i go

the gamble guide... reguardless of what anyone says i will go to bat there is good games and bad gambles that you basically gamble in
the birthday mf guide... this im really not sure about and really is just a hunch unlike the proven-gambling guide above

The first thing i kind of like. I can geti t. I don't get abot billions of gold. I mean that's a lot. I done gold barb many times, i gues i got about 300 million gold total, n thats a lot. A billion? I get it. It can be someting. If you lucky in a game gambling, first 10-20 million, then keep going in that game. If you don't get much, swap game fast. Maybe. Maybe there's something to it. The thing that convinced me of that, is that many times, i've taken breaks from the game, then come back, n then found something really great. In the first run. N that's crazy.

But, last text i give on this matter, is this: I have figured out ohw to win on blackjack. You must simply remembeer all cards that's gone. Not just +1 or -1, that does not work. You must have a mind like a computer, n remember ever card. Then, n only then, can you do it. Becauste then, you know which card has the potential to come up. N if you know the dealer has 6 (though one cndition; You mus be able to see the dealer card, big condition), N you get 10, n you know ther are only 10's left in the deck, n there are like 20 cards left, now you know you can split at least twice, = 2 more bets = n if you can double, then double = 8 x win. Becoust you KNOW the d ealwer will bust.

N then you can do this in a big advanced dway, remembering all cards, calculating chance of dealer bust or youo get big good hand......

This is hard though, you gotta have a mind like a computer, practicing for years.... n then remembering , not winning too hard or fast... but you can play, lose, win, live on comps, even calculated, lose a deal, get comes, THEN!! start winning over time ................. fool the corrupt ones. Man it would be so cool to do that. But i don't have the brain for that ....... you gotta be so fast n trained............

Jackpots run on a different RNG %

If there are 20 machines running on a "Jackpot" sequence, the +63% return is calculated over the 20 machines on a different value to give a false return to the Winner. Basically a person could come in, put $2 Dollars into a machine (out of 20 on the Jackpot % return) and win $998.30 before the max jackpot role of $1000 was a successful hit chance (that is because there was a CAP or 1000). The RNG here is out of 20 machines with a number of X value etc.

Here is a Story... I was 17, on the streets, went into a pool hall that has gambling machines... I has $20 and they had a new gambling machine (no jackpot system then) ... it was called Tea Cups... basically a Poker game with different colored Tea Cups for like Jacks + and colored numbered cards from 1 to 10 ... or in this case, the Tea Cups were Numbered 1 to 13 ... you could bet 5 minimum or 5x5 Maximum... well I got lucky, I went for 5x5... however, I did not realize that a Full House also gave you a number of Re-rolls for free at the same betting value... First of all:
Luck is only teoretical even. But in practise some people are on a constant rate more lucky than others. This is very visible in games, espesially dice board games.

Second:
You are right, «newbeginner luck» seems to be implemented.
Whenever i do sp walkthrought, or even on battle net, it seems like it always bring in good items.

3rd:
Computer generated randomness is never random. It combines multiple actions into some sort of rolling to make it seem random. But it never is true randomness.
It has been pretty well tested for d2.
- Map seed does matter, this can be tested on singleplayer where you can set a mapseed.
- Areas visited/seen is another trigger.
- Number of items owned(cube, inventory, merc, player, stash)
- Number of summons
- Number of players
- Difficulty
- Time spendt in map matters as well.
And then you can add on clevel restrictions and mlevel restriction, which results in a ilvl calculation and a then a roll based on the theese.

* Mapseed + area visited decide the item type within restricted parameters. A reliable way of stacking up on runes. As they do not change in stats.

- Number of items owned also matter. The combination of items owned and summons will change item stats.

I think its called «its raining jah» or «its raining ber»

The guy was able to stack up on jah rune over and over again, by setting map seed and walk same route over and over again.
Since jah is always same stat other factors can be ignored.
Then he found out that he could get the excact same rare ring over and over again. As long as he did not change inventory. And by changing either inventory, or summon ammounts the stats of the ring would change. I dont remember how and if time spendt in game affected it.

So yes, you are right, mapseed matters.

When I was a kid we used to travel the same place every summer on vacation.
They had a machine rolling symbols and fruits and stuff.
You could choose up to 10xtimes input and up to 6 lines or so. 4 horizontal and i think it was 2 in a cross.

We quickly found out that playing for 1 and 1 and 1 nok with 1 line and zero extra multipliers would allow a fairly long playing time, by winning small ammounts once in a while to increase spending time. And once you got the first line of «bringebær» we knew bringebær would fill the slotmachine for several rounds after.
So once first line of «bringebær happened» it was ALL lines and Max multiplier for 700nok gain. So we started with 30-40nok and gained 700-800 nok total. That was much money for us kids.

The machine was removed the next summer
