Now that barbs are permitted to use holy freeze in DFC rules will this combo be bis against attack speed based chars? Seems good vs e.g. sin and smiter? Against chars like zon would max block still be preferable and would it be worthwhile to use Doom on switch?

Also you should combine holy freeze with other slow. One type of slow doesn’t slow enemies that much, but combine it with cleglaw arach and they won’t be able to do shit

For example barb whirlwind with doom slow is still pretty fast, but with decrepify and 50% slow ontop you could make him literally unable to hit

Ito the rules slow is capped at 25% and decrep is only allowed on proc.

My first hammerdin had a wierd smiter setup:
Bugtal ber
Bug belt (10% slow)
Gleglaws (25% slow)
Grief pb + exile
Blackhorns face (20% slow)
Etc

I smiter down this smiter called Satan.
He accused me of hacking with 20 skills in all skillslots :p
Fact is that my hammer was idioticly skilled with like 5 fana base etc xD
And he used grief ba, so super weak vs this slow. HF + 50% from gear xD

I also remembering when barbs and assas tried to wirl me, they would move so slow that i had all the time in the world to kill them over and over again xD

WW ias wasnt affected by slow and hf in LoD times, only travel speed did.

You dueled bad ones cuz every good BvC and Ghost/Hyb was fully str bugged and used long desync whirls vs dins and smiters, they should got invisible hits near every time they stay or tele stomp.

Yes, but with this slow the server wont desync them.
Their wirls took forever to finnish and you could reposition with charge meanwhile. Anyway, this was very long time ago, strenght bugging was not common back then. Must have been 1.10 or 1.11 or something.

Sorry, but not true, slow affect their travel speed so their WW ls were desynced and hit even more times per stomp, I tested my HFreezeCleg Smiter vs some BvCs and when I slowed them down with HF they usualy killed me faster xD

Desync was a thing to 1.14 patch lol when they destroyed WW mechanic, in1.13 was commonly used on every decent BvC.

Yes they kill faster as they get more hits while passing by, but as a smiter with exile you get plenti of hits urself and heal. And their movement speed allows you to hit them enought to kill them several times over as they pass by, and your exile makes it safe. Wonder where i said they hit slow? o_O since they move slow the server easy catch up on their position.
