Its my first time trying this build and I have a couple questions.

1) I find the character is taking a lot of damage to life despite the energy shield set up. I put base 20 points into telekinesis and base 16 (all remaining points at level 94) into energy shield for a total of 82% absorb and 75% mana consumed per damage. I put all of my stat points into energy after getting enough strength for Spirit on switch with my CTA. Should I have more points in ES or more stat points into vitality? Maybe the damage to life has to do with res? I put an Um in my 35res vmagi and I have a number of 5 all res scs to try to get res up a bit.

2) How should I go about getting more MF? Right now I have five 7mfscs along with gheed, war travs, and infinity for MF. Is this just a lower MF build?

3) Do I need a light sunder? Right now I can kill everything fine but I notice theres a moment delay with light immunes before conviction kicks in. Is it worth getting one and losing the light res?

You should be at lvl 31 (86 abs) when casting es on cta side, make sure you do that.

Your also only hitting 95 fcr, swap a soj for fcr ring or a 2/10 ammy.

Res really don’t matter on es except slightly poison but you have cure so it’s negligible imo.

Not really worth statting ~60 str for 1 extra bo just lidless or splendor is fine and use rest of points in energy

Great stuff thanks. I guess for the 2/10 ammy I wouldnt need to focus on res then. So its ok to have low/neg res?

Poison res and plr are the only res mods to look for but don’t stress over not having them

+life +mana great to have

Can also run a magic 3/10 to use 2x sojs

Oh you can also pre buff with a memory if you really want to bump the es

magic 3/10 and double soj is the way to go. any 2/10 and double soj is also good. you really need the 105 fcr. I also suggest using magefist over trangs for even more mana reg.

throw away your wts, use either eth sands or a low req rare pair with 30 frw and poison res. you have a bunch of wasted stat points into str for no reason. it's okay to put 50-100 points into vitality if you find it helps you stay safe.

max ES before your last synergy. the difference between 85 abs and 93-ish abs is huge.

use a -5 res RBF in your viper instead of um. any res outside of poison is more or less useless on a pvm es sorc

also why do you have zero light skillers
they boost offense and defense
no need res sc's
13mdr viper is actually more useful than 35 res cuz mdr will keep ur life from taking any dmg
switch merc to prayer and get 17med
get life/mana sc's
nova is for clearing, if you want mf play vita lightning or blizz

I definitely am using my character for mf, so maybe I should switch back to blizz. What is the benefit of having a fast clearing character over an MF one?

stacking mf is never worth it if it slows down your clear speed.

generally speaking:
a 350 mf blizz sorc will end up with more tal belts and shakos
a 150 mf nova sorc will end up with more hrs, bases and everything else of value
