Would applying a cold facet to Vamp Gaze increase the cold damage % (for example cold damage would be 30-60 after adding facet + 5% cold damage?) Or does it apply only to cold skills?

Cold damage is cold damage brother.

E: it won’t read different on your gaze but it will show in your char screen !!

so the cold damage output to gaze woudl be 31.5 - 63 after adding the facet?

in my opinion,cold dmg is not cold skill dmg. the plus dmg from facet only apply to a cold damage caused by a skill . for exemple if you insert that facet into a sword weild by a act 3 merc,will increase dmg of its attack because he cast ice blast skills.

The facet does add to your cold damage from vampgaze if you are phys damage.
The facet does add to your cold damage from skills if you are not phys damage but magic (like blizz sorc). But that damage is not affected by the cold damage from vampgaze so your facet (rather your attacks) ignore the 6-22 cold damage anyway.

This is correct. So here is a scenario (outrageous)

Bowazon using either Strafe or Multishot, each successful hit inflicts the added damage... HOWEVER, it adds another effect: Freeze Length based on difficulty divided... so, I assume you are in hell... so every cold damage item (including charms & items) STACK freeze length by seconds... in Hell it is divided... 1/4, Nightmare is 2/4 and Normal is 1/1. This means that the duration of that monster being frozen for that duration of time.

Example: if you had 10 small charms with cold damage, in normal will freeze a monster for 10 seconds if you did not kill them outright. Note: items like Raven Frost, also adds 1 second duration of freeze length, this does NOT apply for those that are immune and other monsters that have 0 Chill Effect like Gloams and Souls (and others like Dolls)

In what situation does this even remotely matter tho?

I am not sure, but I do like shattering monsters so the corpses can not be reincarnated (forgot the terminology) by a few monster types.

What are you talking about? Okay... Revive? It is a skill, Necro and on a runeword (bow in this case) ... what does that have to do with shattering monsters and NOT leaving a corpse to revive or resurrect? What about a Blizz sorc and Glacial Spike, shattering monsters... it has nothing to do with what the fuck you are referring to with a bowazon... it is about cold damage... freezing, freeze length, shattering the monster completely so it can NOT be revived.
