Should I go energy shield of vita ?

It's hard to go fire(or cold, for that matter)after being nova. Nova is so strong and tanky.

If I were going to do fire, I'd do fball/meteor with infinity, and as much -res as I could find. Sunder alone doesn't help that much.

Even with maxed synergies, hydra isn't that strong. By the time you dropped a few, the nova sorc has killed everything and is on the next pack.

It's your game, play it how you want, but fire is c-tier these days.

As far as enchant is concerned... Have you ever used guided arrow? It's terrible at multiple targets. I also tried zeal and found it lacking. Did some decent damage, but it's still zeal.

on a fb sorc you just spam fbs tbh. stack some hydras when you're killing act bosses, never meteor.

Vita on a fb sorc as you don't have enough skill points to spend on es and telekinesis. not sure if ES or vita is the way to go on a bow sorc.

both are similarly effective. bow sorc has cheap gear but needs infy to do any damage. fb sorc gear is a bit more expensive but also has so much - enemy fire res that you won't even need infy on your merc

PvM. BowSorc will be stronger simply because of penetrate. One shot can create multiple explosions. Fireball can only create one shot explosion per.

BowSorc will be much more effective than Fireball for Cows/Monsters. Meteor/Fireball is only better on like Diablo.

what is it that you disagree with?

that an fb sorc that already has -78 efr from gear won't need an additional -17 efr from an infy merc to be functional?

kindly explain how that's not the case. and while you're at it, maybe you've got the time to check out any of the of FB sorc p8 gameplay vids on yt and explain why that's an optical illusion or something

I run a fireball sorc with Flickering Flame, Phoenix and a 6 (5/5 die) rainbow faceted sword. Damage is great, just can’t take hits very well.

Demon Machine is the go-to for pvm. It fires explosive arrows with pierce (multiple explosions) you can kill a pack in front of you and ones off screen will die as well. It melts everything on p8, and is way more fun than nova.

For pvm I'd go fb sorc

Phoenix monarch
Eschuta
2x soj
Arach
Mage fists
Water walks
Fire sunder and infinity merc is a must. And stuff still has high fire res.
