I used dual Ist’d swords when horking Travincal runs, and never found anything worthwhile. The best luck I’ve had is with my FOH pally doing Chaos runs using about 250 mf. I found a COA and two Nightwing’s from that. I’ve done numerous Meph runs with a Blizz Sorc, using around 400 mf, and found a few Jalal’s Mane’s and Arreat’, but never anything worthwhile. Still looking for the best return on investment player / MF %

800 is to much

250-400 is best if you maintain killing speed,

To much mf like 800 only increases magic drops(blue) and lower yellow/unique drops

no. you always get higher chances for unique/set/rare drops with increasing mf. item generation is a multi-step process, the chances dont rival each another

Not true. When rolling item quality, the game always rolls in this order: unique > set > rare > magic > normal.

If you see more magic items it's not to the detriment of unique, set and rare items. It's just that effective magic find for blue items has no diminishing returns, so you see a lot less white items.

No, it does not matter what level you are, only the level of the monster you are killing + your magic find total.

And player count.

some ppl are talking about speed of killing these monsters ? does this affect the dropquote? i mean whats the difference between killing for example mephisto in 1 sec, or in 30 sec (both with 850mf)

Runs over time. That should be obvious.
