Anyone try using an iron golem for pvm on anything besides a necro?

I’m curious if they just die super easy on anything other than a necro with golem mastery and summon resist to huff it up

try it. not with infinity tho, try with an insight. insight/infinity wont give it any defensive bonuses, so the test is valid.

Yea true. I’ll just buy something from charsi though. Neither wep has any survivability stats really so should give me a good idea. I suspect he’s just going to melt. I thought maybe the triple rep aura from merc might help keep him alive but 1k life and 0 fire res is kind of instant death I think

Fucking escort mission flash backs

Tried it in CS on p1 and it’s fine, p8 CS didn’t work since I was no longer fhr locking the monsters. Maybe with the conviction aura (and a shield since I wasn’t using one) I’ll be able to fhr lock on p8.

I think it’ll still be hard to keep him alive but maybe doable. Won’t be able to do areas with souls or dolls for sure though. I think areas with a lot of missiles will be tricky as well on p8.

You can make him last some time with CTA and a good item, however as soon as you leave the game, golem is gone forever (in contrast to nec).

Not anymore as long as you don’t unequip the amulet
