Imo neither.

Eth skin of the flayed one with Cham rune

This way you still have life leech and cannot be frozen while being able to use a cure helm on merc

Coh would be my second choice if you’re lower lvl and need the res

Whos holding the infinity, you right?

If i had to choose between the two id go coh, the damage diff isn't as big it seems since dtd. Your prob killing mobs so fast the only thing your merc is going to have time to hit is bosses and they all classified as demons.

I would actually recommend an eth g angel with um until your merc is high enough level to get the max resis without it, then resocket with whatever u like. The triple dip prayer does a pretty good job of keeping your merc topped off and you should be killing things so fast that he doesnt have time to leech or get hit. The only thing thing that he would be in danger of are elemental attacks from bosses.

Your merc is much more likely to die from lack of resistances than from being frozen though. If someone really wants to save a bit of money I’d rather run skin of the flayed one with an Um at least. A merc at 75@ compared to one at 60@ will take 40% less damage from elemental attacks. That’s a huge increase in survivability.

Edit: couldn’t math for a second.

Good point. I am holding it and I do 95% of the killing.

Good point! But it that case coh is just much better since I would only select skin to have both ll and CBF

The main thing is you’ll want some ll on armor so your merc can heal so coh and skin are the only real options there

Forti gives more survavibility with high defense than coh with life leech, so thats where my vote goes. Prayer level is lower slightly, but its fine :)

I have been playing godly ES nova for a while.
105 or 200fcr Nova and aggressive telestomp play style eat though your 3.2k mana in seconds.

ES nova therefore needs insight aura merc.
To counter poison, curses and get even more life/mana regen you need Cure on merc! It is more superior to the old dusty andy + eth sacred armor combo in any imaginable way. Your sorc is the damage dealer, the one that crushes everything. If you rely on merc damage you must be doing something wrong with your build. What you really need are his auras and him just to survive. The latter one requires life leech.

With Cure helm as the new meta, CoH is going to be one of the very few and very best choices of armor with life leech. And eth 15ED lacquered plate is the top tier base for it.
+2 skills boost prayer, overstacked res, replenish life, life steal, damage reduction, mf. What other armor would even come close?
For eth Sacred Armor yor merc will never have enough Str.

Also: Cure + eth lackiered plate CoH cost fraction of high roll eth andys and eth sacred armor fortis. You simply get much more bang for less bucks.
