Without absorb there is at least a small chance that maybe you disconnect or mess up somehow after an hour of teleporting

I just find it absurd that someone would bet 50k and then bring an elemental damage character. Even if he had no idea, you should've gotten a clue after dueling for 20 minutes without dealing damage
