Me and chill arent competition at all, we discussed business before because we was looking to purchase from me. And i mean we have both been around soo long that I think we have have a mutual respect for each other. Thats why we discussed tactics. At least in my opinion that is why.

I've never sold ISK before and I don't want to get my buyer's in any trouble should they be as inexperienced as I am so I'm asking around for advice.

I already discussed methods with chill, and we both agreed it is EXTREMELY hard to find viable 100% safe methods. When trading you are always at risk.

That's completely fine, I'm suggesting to you that you should have made your suggestions to me privately by replying to my PM and we could have left it at that. I had no way of knowing how you would feel about it ahead of time.

Being a noob, I have no way of knowing this until someone such as yourself tells me. I had assumed that clever people would have figured out a variety of effective methods because that's how these things usually go from my experience with other games. The players are always ahead of the devs.



Sure thing, but I find your attitude counterproductive. I feel that if we all work together we can come up with better solutions and increase safety for everyone. In any case, I'm not looking to become a regular trader here, this is a one off deal for me as I'm quitting eve to focus on starcraft so don't worry about me stealing your business :P)

Did a trade everything went smooth,

Secure method is simple: The seller simply accepts a scam contract issued by the buyer.

once you agree on details of trade, the buyer spams in local jita "GIVING AWAY ALL MY ISK" with a contract selling 1 trit for the desired amount of isk.
The seller accepts the contract and buys 1 trit for the desired amout of isk to the buyer
Done.

I made lots of transactions with this method, sold like 25 B in approx 15 transactions, and no problem.
