Yes the value of Fg has changed over the years. It use to be 100 fg vs $10. Its now 290fg vs $10. So yes i was considering the inflation when i made my post
Sunday, March 28, 2010 5:20:30 AM Granted 3,175.00 (2,034.04 -> 5,209.04) from Forum Bank (by njaguar) FG Purchase: $100 Thanks!
Current price: $100 for 3250 fg
It's been over 3 years and you get 75 more fg for your hundred, (and you get a deal on buying $100 worth).
Game markets will change way more than that in 3 years. Plus when I bought it, the price could have been at that level for a year or two even before I bought it.
Facts^
Edit: Oh and because this thread annoys me I felt like posting a trade I made in eve many years ago,

1380 fg for only 500m isk, how do you think that correlated with fg purchase price at the time? Even if the price was similar you would not get 1380fg for 500m isk today, if you think fg purchase price and game markets are directly related that is just NOT true at all, these facts prove that with ease, they are indirectly related, but does not guide the price of the Eve market like you suggest, the above examples are proof of that.
