Does eve still hold some random free play weekends, or any resurrection scrolls like wow has?

I dont believe it does.

However there is "Hours for plex"

You basically get a free 4 hours of game time to log on and plex your account.

If you fail to plex your account within that time you will be barred from ever using the privilege again. Basically only use that service to resub, or dont use it at all.

Probably best if you stick to wow, I feel EVE is too advanced for you.

That you even bring up EVE and wow in the same sentence is shameful.

eve always has free trials for you try out.

as far as eve and wow in the same sentence its fine, they are both successful mmos disregarding their play style and audience

and both offer new players a go at their game for free

Eve and WoW in the same sentence is a terrible idea.

Never do it again if you ever intend on having friends in Eve Online.

I don't think they are talking about the life wasting aspect of it. I think they are talking about the average age of players and dedication and end game required in Eve compared to WoW. They are quite different.

They used to offer 3-5 day free game time stints every couple of months to people who let their subs lapse as an incentive to get them to resub.
I don't know if they still do this or not, as I've not let my account lapse since I went back.

I have not heard about this since I started eve in 2010, so I guess they discontinued that
