Try the trial its free. Also somone can give you extended invite trial time. Good game many corporations for newbs to join.

Just start training for what you want to fly, and you will have a head start in some categories that you have already trained.

you could sell the old, buy a new one, and make a specialized.

Exactly what an mmo should be, a brand new experience that is fun and exciting. Will never find this feeling in 99% of new mmos, although eve has had changes i do not necessarily like... it is still one of the only games that has stayed true to its roots and continued to improve many qualities.
