i been using a drake and its a very good ship but i spent the money and got a raven..my problem is i take in incredible amount more damage i takeon the raven :/ on the drake pirates in 0.5 SEC hit me for .08 to 3 damage on the raven im getting hit for 12s and up to 75s from missles while on the drake missles hit me for about 30

and for torpedos i cant hit anything more than l 10 KM off my missle flight time is so bad with the drake i could hit up to 50KM with my missles

reading on wiki it says the raven is good for up to 200KM range HOW?!


so anyways with the torpedos my enemys just fly away while shooting me as i helplessly tank it (while taking 300% more dmg than my drake)
and looking at my damage %'s yes my drake has more by its minimal amounts 10-20% more on certain elements
in 0.2 SEC i am getting wrecked with constant 300 dmg


also have horrible CPU issues i cannot use my 6 torpedo launchers and my 2 turret lasors while using my 6 medium slots for my shieild extenders

i tried getting micro warp drive for my torpedo range issues but even on a naked ship my core is unstable with it and cannot use it at all let alone with any weaponry..

i have not even looked into rigs on low slot items for as much trouble as im having :/


anyone got a good set up or ideas of what i can do? i kill sasha pirates if that means anything

it is rough i think ill be with the drake for some time i just hate that it lacks serious fire power compared to the raven and its torpedos

i checked that link and that is amazing ill look into that however i am mostly stuck with tech 1 gear and that build in that link is over a year away from my reach ill look to see if all that stuff there has tech 1 versions for me to get into thanks alot!

if anyone else has any builds they would like to post please do! im trying to build the perfect rat killer!


one thing im hoping someone could answer for me is that those guides show 2 or more of the same items and when i look ingame it says you will be penalized for doing such a thing can someone explain how that works and what these penalties are?

What type of launcher are u using?
about tank, use specific hardeners for missions.

siege launcher 1

i dont do missions i can only do level 1 missions and i use my drake for that this raven is for ratting in low sec against sasha pirates

use cruise launchers.
and train for tengu

tengu seems very squishy? 100 sheidl 100 armor 1600 hull?

that's only for the hull.
A tech 3 cruiser has 5 subsystem spots, these subsystems "make" your ship, browse the tengus subsystem in the market and you'll understand.
It will have much more than 100shield with subsystems, and insane resists too. it's one of the best ratting ships, so if u are caldari don't hesitate to skill for it.

an unwanted fight is a lost fight, if you can escape, do so. if you cant, you can shoot them and ask for help in your corp/alliance but it'll be too late
