Not sure, I think most people around here that are active are in bitter vet corps or mining corps.

What are you looking to do, pvp or pve/mining?

Welcome aboard cskn ;)

We're not all, bitter old players...

Do yourself a favor and keep running those missions instead of mining.. Nothing bad comes from mining, but the kill missions your currently at gives you more insight in the game mechanics
Mining kills the fun in the (early)game for a lot of players - i've been mining like few others and still do from time to time, but only because i have more than 1 acc, and have access to some of the more rare materials (profitable ones) - materials are the lifeblood in eve, nothing can be build/produced without.

My suggestion if you want to run some missions and build up some assets.
Get some standing with caldari state (keep running security missions) - take up the cosmos chain whenever you feel like it, quite fun, and takes you trough some aspects in the game you need to learn about as a freshman - besides if you actually finish the chain your left with several billions in your wallet, a shitload of bp's and a load of standing (you'll also get some standing with the Amarr's, working for caldari).
There are cosmos lines for all 4 player factions in the game.

Link for a decent guide to caldari cosmos : http://www.scribd.com/doc/16401872/Cosmos-Missions-101

That being said - there are loads of stuff to be done in eve besides the mission running :)
Industrialism - mining - production - invention - research bp's - planetary interaction (pi) - (R&D agents, free isk more or less) - marked buy/sell orders - contracts aso -
Become a pirate, as all new players tend to aim at, 1/100 actually gets the skills to make this work for em.
Join a corp after your liking, they are all over - just make sure you get what you need, talk to them, check things like corp tax aso, make sure you have the same agenda. There are a lot, and i do mean a lot of different corps to choose from.
WH living, even more free isk to be found here.
0.0 corp, join a large scale corp, become part of an alliance, learn the mechanics in pvp, op's - loads of fun, but also some downsides for the newer players, since you'll experience being war dec'ed, hostile takeovers aso - on the bright side, you'll also be part of these things ;) There are some decent 0.0 corps that gives new players the opportunity to join one of their training (sister )corps and show you the "moves"

Sry for the long list, could go on forever really.

Ask and thou shall get the answers...

Fly safe

Thank you for your helping post thats really helpfull. As you say mining is boring after few run if you doing alone like me. Low sec mining maybe more exciting with some guard buddies. I think dont want to go on single purpose like only mining or inventing sth. I have some friends who doing caldary level 3 mission with me. Its quite funny playing with. I have caldary destroyer(cormorant) for now after 2 day ill be flying with cruiser. After few weeks maybe i ll try to do low sec gans sounds funny. I ve just started its about 3-4 days gone.

I saw EVE university corp on the list. After i read the rules of corp i change my mind. I dont think US air forces have rules much like that.

Anyway thank for helping ill try to search some other corps that fits my will :)

There isn't a jsp corp, and most on jsp don't actually talk inside eve because trading isk on jsp is against the eve EULA and you can have the isk bought taken away, and even get banned if multiple offenses.

I am currently in Rooks and Kings (PVP alliance), as well as a Goon friendly corp {blah?}

mining is far from easy money, and actually produces less isk than mission/incursion.

I would recommend missioning to get a feel for mechanics, maybe train the week or so into a t2 gun rifter and dip into some pvp, and get a corp to help you run higher missions for isk.

You can help do level 4 missions a few days after starting if you train into salvaging and at least a bit into hull upgrades (for cargo hold upgrades). the upshot is you will want salvaging later, and hull upgrades 4 is an absolute must anyway....

ohhh yeah... f**k goons ;)

edit: for comparison I get around 30mil an hour doing incursions (granted that's with a fast crew that's skilled and know what to do. but there are crews that do better) and the max you can make mining with full support and boosts + implants with top skills is around 41mil per hour... For isk/per hour incursions are the way to go (though high sp tengu blitz's or any marauder with someone to loot/salvage will make more)

edit 2: as far as 0.0 corps go... to get into a good one wait 'till you have at least 6-8 million sp in my opinion. and there's no worries about war dec's since a decent alliance will have a good trade hub set up anyway. Your main problem is having the core/weapon/ship skills to fit into a ship your 0.0 corp/alliance uses for ops. For that you will usually want to be able to fit a battle cruiser or bs (large fleet) or a web/scram frig minimum (roams or small ops).

With incursions you make 100-150mil isks per hour PLUS LPs
With level 4 military missions you make 20-30mil? per hour PLUS LPs

Are you sure you want to mine?? ^^

Whether it was a typo or you clearly have no idea of what you're talking about, because if you say you do 30mil an hour in incursions on a fast fleet FOR SURE you never run incursions in your entire life, do you even play eve at all and/or have any active account that you use to spin ships in station and smack talk in local??

that's if u are in a good organised fleet with people that can fit their ships correctly :) , shit random fleets with low SP people with T1 guns brings not more than 50M/hour if u aren't permanantly contested and if u don't die :D
