So I just found out about this feature today. Supposedly it's in the tutorial, but I never got the skill book for it or did it. Watching some youtube video tutorials on it now. Seems pretty interesting as a passive way of making isk. Anyone happen to have any tips or tricks on this feature of the game? I hear it's like playing farmville. A maintenance type of game which isn't something I love or hate.

the first step is to know what do you want to produce and what do you need to produce (the market will help u choose)
You'd prefer to do 1 product on 1 single planet without having to import / export

if you saw the tutorial here is an example of a descently working setup for tier 2 products.

2extractors -> 1storage -> 2 ( or more) basic facilities[/B] -> (1 storage -> )1 advanced (or more) -> launchpad
if you want 2 advanced you'll need 4 basics, 3 advanced 6basics.

You will notice quickly that in highsec, planets are very poor and your extractors will extract less and less ressources and will need many heads ...
about extractors, remember that more the survey is long, more the cycle is long. you need 3000 units of x for each basic facility cycle (30min) , meaning that your extractors have to extract at least 6K of x/hour / basic facility
try to make your links as small as possible.

I will definitely take a look at the link. PI doesn't seem too difficult, but until I get hands on experience on it, I'm going to be clueless =)

ALSO it´s very important there u do your pi, the profit you get in highsec is really low just some millions per month, in low its still meh in 0.0 its good and in WH space its the best and godly income with 3 chars all pi skills on IV and V, you can do easy 300-500m in one or two weeks. The pi also scale how many ppl are """mining"""" on the planet the more ppl there are the less you get, because the spot there u find the stuff you want to ""mine"" get also "mined" from other ppl! also you should look which items you want to produce with pi, you should build something with a good stable price like mechanical parts or so because everybody with a pos need them!

Also the 300-500m income is only if you do it on a daily routine in a WH and 3 accs with really good skills with 5accs you can get 800-1000m my ceo does this and i fkn hate him for pay 3 of his 5 chars with pi :<
