basically she is capable of doing 100% most efficent trading from anywhere in the forge from jita (or you can sit her between 2 constellations and make more money that way too)

if you dont have a trade character and would like to get into the market, dont make the mistake i did, i was buying/selling things with an untrained character which ends up losing lots of money on taxes etc

this character has maximum reduction via skills and maximum range needed for jita

anyways my current buyout price is 1.6b isk

i'm retiring for now, i have school coming up and other RL games i'm workin on, though i do have a 1m sp frig PVP'er that i may come back to sometime for some fun haha

alright, i'm setting her BIN at a solid 1.5B isk

for those who dont know, this character is perfect for day trading and flipping big costly items (plex's, ships, high end blue prints, mass amounts of ore) this is what i did to make my riches in eve

a perfect jita trader, though, if you decide that's not for you, she's already nearly perfect at doing volume trades too

the only trade skills she doesnt have are corporate contracts, tycoon and wholesale.

you will never need those unless you intend on doing extremely high volume trades or trades in many places at once (both are for very advanced traders and i never even got into it)

a little background:

i was lucky and hopped into the trading game when the plex's were fluxuating anywhere from 10-40m per day, it was free money, but now they've settled down more, max fluxuation i've seen in the past few months is 21m, but you really have to know when to buy and sell and understand things like the prices at night are very calm, and more people buy than sell at night, this is because most people set up their sales for the night time and go to bed (all of my times are based on EST, and when i refer to "night" i'm speaking 11PM-8am)

my suggestions with this character, stay in jita until you have freighters trained well enough to efficently transport NPC goods at a solid hourly rate, and then learn more about the NPC buy/sell market (theres a ton to learn, it can take a long time, but you can make a lot of easy money, ideally someone who will make a lot of money like this will know 3-5+ regions well and intend on eventually having 3+ accounts to make maximum money)

i was eventually going to get into this, but my life got really busy and now i dont have time, so i sold out all my isk, but i did research and for the most possible money per trip i trained up this caldari trader.

i have more information but this is already too long so pm me and we can talk a bit more in private if you're interested, theres some really cool people on these boards and i hope she goes to good hands who will be willing to learn things i didnt and further her

one last note, plex flipping alone, you can probably make 5-15% of your maximum money a day if you learn the market good enough (it's a % not a set number because you need money to make money, i wouldnt start plex flipping before you have atleast 3b, but better to have around 6b) in a single day i went from 10b to 12.5b, but at the same time i lost about 600m when i was new to it and didnt understand, the best way i learned was literally just log in 3-4 times a day for 2-3 days and record the prices at those times and watch the fluxuation, once you have a good idea of what the general resting price is you look at what times it tends to be higher and lower and calculate with taxes how much you can make at the different numbers, get a base number, say you want to make 1m per plex, then always buy so you make MINIMUM 1m per plex for 2-3 days and hold them until it goes to the price you wanted, i normally aimed for 4-6m profit per plex, though sometimes you have to wait 3-4 days

the trick is always be patient

cut your losses if the market took a obvious perminant change

this form of trading is very uninvolved, you can log in 2-3 times a day for 10-15 minutes to train skills and look at the market (the rest of the time u can either just do other things or play another character for more money)

If for fg then about 3k fg tops

21 days + 30 days = 51 days = aprox 3m SP = free cause you`ll get 30 days on your main account .

thats cool, but, as with all things in life, the thing that deviates humans from computers is the ability to make choices

this character is focused for doing something a little bit different and is therefore priced differently, also the fact that shes purely focused for one thing which a lot of newer characters arent, in addition, she can be a trade alt for your main account and you never have to train her, just do all transactioins on her but i do appreciate the link, those things helped me determine a rough price of characters when i was newer and didnt know what i was looking for as much

@brainpower i only sort of follow your post, i believe you're saying to make a 3m sp char is basically free when you make a new account and just plex it (i did however train straight to +4's, the skill and the implants make her more valuable for that reason, more sp/hr)

but in addition, then you're stuck paying/plexing another account for the rest of your eve career, unless you pay 2 MORE plex to get it on your main account for a trade alt, however since i'm paying the transfer fee of 2 plex's, these problems are negated AND you dont have to wait 2 months just to start trading

people posting math cant always beat the pure logic that comes behind human reasoning and external costs that arent factored it

sure , but you pay 2 plex to transfer it = 750m , not 1.5b ^^

and even if you "get stuck" with another account , the skills are growing = + EV

true, that plus the 80-100m for +4 implants + waiting 2 months for to be able to trade properly, but thats what you're paying for

you're paying to be 2 months in the future and making money already, an experienced trader with decent funds could easily make 10-20b in 2 months with little effort (1-2 hours a day maximum)

but i agree, it's not "hard" to make such a character, and if you're willing to 21 day referral a new account, plex it, thus getting 30 days on your main, train implants to 4 (sink 60m for the implants) and then wait minimally a month to start trading decently well

if thats the point your trying to make

but the point of selling anything is conveniance, i truely thing that if i wanted to, i could make some sort of motor device from scratch, i mean, the information is all over the internet, and i would just sink however much time made it the cheapest, but it would take a while, and why wouldnt i just buy a cheap car and get a decent job and make enough money to buy a nicer car, etc ;D

FG = 3.5k fg (saves me the time reconverting the isk to fg)
