Is it fun? Is there always something to do? Do you level? pvp? Do you just have a gun on your ship or do you have a lot of skills?

I know NOTHING about EVE, tell me all about it please!

Go google around first.

It's not fun unless you make your own fun.

Google the rest of the questions.

its a really fun game. Although the learning curve is a bit high at first, it can be easily thought within a month or two. Theres tons of different things to do in eve. its nothing like WoW or Rift where you run around and play with spells. You don't level up. However you train with time. Ie it takes 1 day to train spaceship command to lvl 4 or something like that.

The average sp (skill points) you obtain per year is roughly 13mil.

The game is very diverse. PvP, PvE, marketing, science, manufacturing, mining, refining, inventing. All sorts of things. Its really like a miniature business world, with the exception that you can go shoot people :P

I highly recommend the game. But if you do decide to play, please dont be discouraged by the fact that its hard to understand art first. There are multiple things that work for and against each other. It takes time to learn them all :)
It is by far the best game i have played.

And i have played:
Eve
WoW
Rift
Runescape
Guildwars
LoL
WoT
MTGO

And more.

Now for the really good part. There is a 21 day trial that an existing Eve online member can give to you. Basically you can play the game for 21 days for free. try and learn some of the easy basics and determine if you even like the game :)
And then after your 21 days, if you decide to subscribe, then you pay for your month (Or however long you want) and the player who gave you the 21 day trial gets a FREE month of play time also. Your not paying for their month, but the dev's in eve give it to that player as a courtesy for bringing in a new player :)

If your interested in this feel free to pm me :) ill hit you up with one. Ill also give you some isk to start out with :)

Sounds kinda fun! A 21 days trial would be nice, but as you probably understand I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy it so don't get disappointed if you don't get a free month.

believe it or not, it's not a flashy game, but it's fun in the strategem way.
like winning 1v3 PvP just because you did more research on their fits then they did on yours.

You must be bad at math :P Maximum sp gain per year is 21mil sp, you would have to be training a bad skill for your current attribute remap to hit 13mil lmao. Average is atleast 17-18mil/year

On a side note, eve is unlike any other game currently out there, its one of the most massive games in the world, on a single server, its a giant sandbox server. And the community is unrivaled.

24x365x2k=17.5

Well my i guess i should have added that my info was before the remap system :P I heard the devs say average is 13mil so its just stuck. However i guess with perfect stats 17-18 is achievable.
