i come from playing competitive arena in wow and id like to play pvp in this but is it skill based or mainly gear based? also is there any ranking of pvp stats?

you have to have the proper skills and equipment, but after that it goes to how you play


its a lot different from wow, and if you ever raged in arena you'll almost definitely rage hardcore for a while in eve pvp
