these are 2 fits that were recommended to me by people i know in game for l4 mission running. which is a better fit?

Neither, no guns, no t2 sentries, no dps. T1 ogres wont do much and with one drone link on the first, your meds and lights wont go very far.


IMHO a domi isn't an amazing solo l4 runner, it can sure do it, but I believe that it shines in a PvE combo with a raven or something. If you want the domi to work, get the tank figured, get t2 sentries, slap two omni drone trackers in the mids, rack up drone links in the highs, and rig for 2 CC and a sentry damage rig (can even have 2 or 3 sentry rigs if you're feeling fine with having a cap booster). That is if you have no gun skills, which hybrids kinda blow besides blasters which dont do much at all in PvE.

The former is less bad. What are you trying to tank, though, with two kinetic and two thermal hardeners? For Guristas, you'll want three kinetic and one thermal.

(using an AB on my navy issue with the same fit as above)
I use this setup with a Maelstrom (dps fitted) and the domi takes all the aggro. switch drones and hardeners according to what you face ( drones T2 (sentries, heavies & lights ) )
With this fit I can tank whole room aggro most of the time, (even if my tank is broken, it wont be broken for long with the maelstrom )

you should do fine with this fit, even solo, it just lacks of dps but is a good ship to start lvl 4s with, it's quite cheap
you can also add 2 tractor beams and 2 salvagers in highs!

use guns and sentries. sentries alone dont do enough dps unless you have t2 with good skills. even then, you are getting avg dps.
use 350mm rails with sentries, dual large rep, with 4x hardeners, mag stab, 4x cap rechargers/1x omni-tracker, triple CCC.

the slowboat, no gun, fit wasnt so bad before we got the noctis, because you could salvage while missioning in same boat. if you had high enough sentry dmg, the timing of missioning was pretty close to other ships because they had to get a salvager out. but now with noctis, the no guns thing is dumb.
