Havnt played in a while but got an itch to actually play. (as opposed to watching skill bars raise)

with the learning removal it will be a good chance to start new so what race do yall think have the best frigs? want to spec in frigs at first.

ive played amarr and gallente and liked both but min has always been praised and cal just got a boost with rockets so idk.

tl:dr best race for frigs is what?

i just recently started playing again and have been doing a bit of frig pvp. each race has its advantages, although i admit rifter is probably the best ship for low sp. the rifter can be used well as a shield tank or armor tank and has 3 mid slots which helps alot. the punisher lacks a mid slot but has an insane tank which is great for small gangs, but energy turrets suck imo so i would put autocannons on it. the merlin looks like a nice ship, especially if they boost the rocket damage. gal has nice damage but blasters can be a pain since you have to get so close. if i had to choose i would say minmatar, because you get the rifter and later on if you keep going you will get the thrasher, rupture, stabber and hurricane.

actually rifter is better as armor tank , else you won`t have tackle , and as a solo frigate you`re useless without tackle ^^

true , but once again , you`re suggesting crosstrain from the start + a ship that requires decent fit & skills and cost 80m hull only

rifter is hands down the best t1 frigate overall

and i dont mean just t1 frigs i mean the entire frig lineup (af inty ect)

also whats current fotm? and why

i know it`s a cruiser , lol , but what i said is correct , it requires cruiser 4 to 2 factions to be able to fly it close to its capacity , not to mention that you`ll need to fit it proper else will be wasted isk and nice killmail for whoever rapes you ... also flavour of the next month will be Hawk in my opinion
and if you can afford it , cookie cutter faction fit dramiels / dd will always be on top
