I am tired of D2, looking to play EVE. I have read a bit and watched a few video's and trailers.

Is there anything I should know. It mentions 3 careers, trader, explorer, and wars. I would like to do a bit of exploring and wars, I am not good with trading. Any advice?

Ive only been playing for a few months, but the corporation I am in has been helpful and I dont mind showing you the basics of mission running, I can solo level 4's and your welcome to tag along

im in a really helpful wormhole corp. we have our own solar system and the people in it are extremely generous.

and theres basically a few professions: mining, mission running, trading, exploring, manufacturing and hunting pirates as basics, and then you can expand into running a corporation or doing industry production for money.

i personally did mission running until i had the skills to do exploring and pirate hunting for money

Do yourself a favor and get into a noob friendly player corp asap.

They will help you much more than the nooby npc corp eve puts you in by default.

I am starting to like the game a lot. Pretty soon I will be looking for large sums of isk, about 1-2k fg maybe 3k fg worth depending on rate
