Example if you like to invest about 12 €.

eebay ~12€ = 500 MIO ISK (i could prove that by Links to eeeebay, but i'm not sure if thats allowed so you have to check ureself)
12 € = 14,8 $
15 $ = ~ 400 fg

400 fg with a Ratio of 2.0 are = 200 Mio ISK

So i'm wondering why is the Ratio on ISK so high ?
Seems to be a really bad deal trading here fg into ISK or did i forget something in my Calculation ?

Im sure people interested in paying money will search all the sites and find the best deal... its just the smart thing to do as a consumer....

Its not really for free, you're spending many hours in mf runz before you find something, so you could also use that time to earn money in real Life, ratting in EVE or something else.
Its like youre going to Work and saying i get Money for free ! Ok work is work and Diablo2 is a Game, but i also play Diablo2 and i know doing MF Runz hours for hours isnt fun
If you get all the Items through a Bot, you're maybe right with that, so you just invested the 20€ for an extra Classic & LoD Key.

Another point is fg has a worth in real Life Money, nevermind how you got it. 260fg = 10$
So in my opinion its not really economical trading it at this ratio. But People do, so i'm just wondering, maybe i made a fault in my Calculation.

I didnt invest any extra cd keys.... If i get banned i get banned, i dont play d2 at all... and i havnt really for nearly a year+

it have ofc ! nobody would spend 10$ or xxx $ if he wouldnt get consideration that has the same worth.

If fg hasnt $$ value it would mean people buying fg spending there money for nothing.

cash for isk or fg.... LoL... FG is free. no matter how you look at it. idc if your spending hours playing or if you got a bot doing it for you. Your not spending those hours playing just to make fg. your spending those hours playing to make your TOON better and along the way you find gear that is worth while to sell. So In Other Words. Your playing for the fun of the game not a job. (even though it feels like a job often enough)

Forum Gold has a monetary value regardless of what anyone is or is not saying.

Why does it? You can purchase forum gold through this site with real money and, if you don't mind risking getting banned from the site, you can sell it for real money.


So, in my opinion, incessant has an excellent point about the ratio of fg:isk

All I can say dude... the actual value of fg is not connected to its monetary value because the jsp market isn't designed for it.

Therefore, the pricing really has nothing to do with its actual value and everything to do with supply and demand.

I've seen people trade fg:isk at 2:1 and all the way to 4.5:1 on rare occasion.

It's a bum world, but we all live in it.

Even posting saying "FG for cash, or cash for fg" will get you insta locked....






for fg to have monitary value, you would need to be able to cash your fg back out for cash

sure you "can" buy fg, but your not buying fg directly, your donating cash to the site, and getting a compensation for your donation


but, im pretty sure legally, under all definitions of the word, fg has ZERO monitory value
