Can new players get into eve with out being dominated by people with billions of isk?


I jsut downloaded the 14 day trial, been messing around with it today, i just dont wanna waste my time if i have no chance

its all about skill training and a good corp. if u wanna be a trader ya u will get flattened by the people will billions(even trillions) so thats not a good idea, mission running/mining/pvp are all easy to get into and the better ur skills the better you will do so keep training and u will get better

its not about how much isk you have its about your skills.

even someone new can be effective. you can fly around in a frigate with 5 other people and be a real help in pvp situations

they have balanced the game really well.

get yourself in a corp who will show you the ropes and get eveMON to sort out your training, the worst thing to do is train loads of useless skills.

cool thanks, I joined a corp, and they send me some evemon links taht had skill packs... i havnt checked it out, but it sounds like they know what they are doing...
