Not sure what to rig it with. I was thinking 3x Large Core Defence Field Extender Is (would be 20k Shield, 77 EHP)

Any suggestions?

I'd rig it with 3 cap circuits, also I'd get rid of a shield extender for a 2nd amplifier, and replace the cap coil with another bcu

any way to work out stacking penalties?

id go with a target painter
caldari navy launchers/BCSs/etc are nice upgrades but if u can afford those u can buy a navy issue raven

just eat the penalties, it's not significant enough to hinder performance

Raven is a good active tank but using shield extenders is pointless on that ship. Not to mention the shield power relays, if u want i can link u a good solid lvl 4 setup
Basicly ur setup also depends on if u want to perma boost or pulse boost with lower cap but more dps.

posting 2 good setups here for both active or pulse tanking:


Puls tank, higher shield count, more resist and boosing only when u need, higher dps than permatank setup + need room in inventory for cap booster ammo

Active tank, can just enable all ur tanking modules and slack off while u dps!, lower shield, lower resist and lower dps, but u wont run out of cap, and all the inventory space u need!

Btw i always suggest using small + medium drones instead of medium + medium (diffrent dmg types) for level4 missions, dmg type aint the biggest problems for drones in lvl 4 missions, the shipsize is

uhm, i tested with my char, so should be
maybe i got some cap implants on my clone

*edit: checked again, stabile with both my main char, alt char and the all lvl 5 char in EFT
