Yeah when you first start it, you pretty much get smacked upside the head with information/stuff to do in the game. It took me atleast a year to really started to grasp everything in the game. I played for 3 1/2 years, if you get into pvp or find something you really enjoy doing it you can play it longer then any game you've ever played. I was a major pvp'er for the better part of 2 years, aka adrenaline junkie. Its all high risk in pvp. I quit about 6 months ago, due to wife having our first kid, and im gonna wait a few years to start playin again. But i would never trade the time spent having a blast playing eve for anything, i still talk to the people i used to play with on msn. When you pvp you talk on ventrilo, with a headset, cause typing in serious pvp is very bad. You have your FC (fleet commander) a person who basically leads the whole pvp op your on. Some fights ive been in have been up to 5 hours of constant shooting, target calling, blowing the crap outta cap ships. And the whole time i was pumped up on adrenaline and once your done and calm down you are tired as hell. Adrenaline is addicting

Eve really gave a whole new view of mmorpg's to me.
my 2 cents, if you have any questions msg me.
