i currently have 3 accounts and was wondering which would be best for me to have as a pvp character to defend myself in possible .3 or .4 situations. and i will also be helping my corp out. i have a freighter and a hulk on other accounts. pretty much solo mining and id like a pvper there for me. my current skill training in learning skills is almost complete. thats why im asking now to give myself about a week to think on it. any ideas? and layouts would even be better.

First of all, defending yourself in lowsec is always, always, always a losing proposition. They're not going to attack if they don't have the means to overwhelm you. These guys are predators, and they've been at it a while. The best defense is numbers; you have to have a bigger gang than they do.

With that out of the way, I'll say this: Cruisers with 1600mm armor plates do fairly well in lowsec, and don't take long to train for. I suggest a Thorax if you're Gallente, and a Rupture if you're Minmatar. They're relatively nimble, and they're the smallest ships that can withstand the gate guns for any period of time (about 3 cycles of the guns). They also orbit fast enough to avoid large guns, and move fast enough to keep the tackle on a larger ship.

im an amarr but i have 0 training in any pvp shipline. well except amarr frig lvl2 i think? so i can go any route for any race.

For Amarr the Maller is extremely tough, and hard to kill (relatively), but does less damage and is not as nimble as the thorax or rupture.

It really all depends on how you're going to use it, but a dominix is a very versatile ship. You ought to take a look at the different races and their differences and pick one you like to specialize in. You'll always be more effective if you specialize.

id be working beside my friends drake most of the time. if that helps the situation. i just wanna be one bamf. while im bringing in the cash with my hulk/freighter.

IMHO it would be very easy to take out a Hulk and get out before a Domi can kill you. Just a thought.

Haha, nice facts there, I have engaged Drake and Rax in my dual repper Myrmidon and other ships in favor to enemy and won fight, so your rules of engagement are just pure bullshit.
You must've be some sorta Caldari/Amarr FW blob member, cause you talk about numbers and bigger fleets and think that more ships than enemy = win.

And 2 x Sentry guns does 355 dps, there's no fucking way that your plated cruiser could die in 3 cycles.
