im currious what the best caldari ship and setup is for killing guristas frigates in .5 space while i mine - any ideas?

Caracal with assault missile launchers. Or failing that, anything that can carry light drones

or get a Hawk/Harpy but forget the 35mil-cheap-booster...why the hell would u need it in highsec ^^

yeah i was using hobgoblins on my hulks but am now trying mining drones for the extra yield...i guess that i should really get another hulk pilot so i can just have another hulk in there and all can have hobs or whatever

With the extra yield hire an escort for a little bit of ISK.

i havent tried the hawk cuz i cant fly it but so far ive found that the drake does an awesome job with assualt missile launchers and bloodclaw missiles. that is when my hobgoblins dont get to em first

nice setup, i do prefer shield extender II though instead of shield boosters

not really but i had two hulk pilots, a hauler and a mission runner/trader char and i wanted to set the latter to sit there and shoot the rats....i am now training the mission runner/trader to fly a hulk as well and will probably go back to using some light drones..
