I'm not sure what 1.7:1 means but I am looking to buy some ISK, I want to pay around 20fg. How much does that get me? I'm a brand new player just looking for a little extra cash to play with on the market.

1.7:1 means divide whatever FG amount by 1.7 and thats how much ISK you will get. In this case you'll get 12m (rounded up for ya)
