I would actually go for the Rattlesnake, not much difference with a CNR in price and it's'a really good ship for farming. One of the best incursion runner i have ever met in all of my eve time was flying a RS.

nanodrake smallgangs are capable of taking on many, many times their number without a single loss (or very few losses, depending on pilot error.)

unless you're already extremely experienced in PvP, have the ability to pimp your tengu, and have a linking alt - a drake is a better option.
and they are basically free, being probably the second most cost effective ship in the game (behind machariel).

I prefer T2 cruisers over T3 in PVP, just because of price tag.

would say tengu cheaper then a cnr if the boom happens no drones on it but the speed of it u sould be able to kite away easy if u get the webbers and the scramblers first
