still , if mining is really your thing , at least do it right and mine with a Bantam , then go for Osprey , then start training for dedicated mining ships such as retriever / covetor ... but mining is boring as hell if you ask me ;(

I basically smiled at him right after he used that warp disrupter thing on me and told him I knew this was probably a trap.

What is a t2 tank?
I was mining in a cormorant because it was the first destroyer I got for my mission. I'm able to throw on a bunch of mining lasers which was a big plus and it had a lot more cargo room than any of my other frigates. More than Bantam and Osprey I believe.
I know mining is boring, but it's something you can mindlessly do. Something you can pay very little attention to while you watch a movie or something. I'm a multi tasker and like killing 2 stones at once, so if I can make a little bit of isk mining while I watch one of my TV shows or movies, that's great. Mining lets me do that since you barely have to pay any attention to it.

well ... you can do afk missions in a drone boats ^^

and t2 tank means your defensive modules should be t2 versions as soon as possible ... they usually ask lvl 4 of some important skills you should have anyway , so the sooner the better ^^

and Osprey is a cruiser , with mining bonus and have a big enaugh cargo , and more low-slots

I haven't played around with drones yet as I'm waiting for my tutorial missions to teach me about that.

So the tier 2 equipment basically just have a II at the end of it? I noticed some of the mining lasers have that.

I thought the Osprey was a frigate. haha maybe I'm thinking of something else. That's what had killed me. He was probably pretending to be a mining vessel as he was mining with one laser and then he had attacked me.

Have any of you guys ever been in Eve University? Thinking of applying. I just need to get into an active corp that uses vent and actually talks in chat. I feel like I'm still playing a single player game right now and getting taxed 10% from my missions. Not getting much help from my corp as most of the guys are mute.

finally finished my tutorial agent missions. Starting my epic arc missions now and on a quest to find a better corp still.
