Secure method is simple: The seller simply accepts a scam contract issued by the buyer.

once you agree on details of trade, the buyer spams in local jita "GIVING AWAY ALL MY ISK" with a contract selling 1 trit for the desired amount of isk.
The seller accepts the contract and buys 1 trit for the desired amout of isk to the buyer ;)
Done.

I made lots of transactions with this method, sold like 25 B in approx 15 transactions, and no problem.

Not safe enough for large amounts of isk, not for me anyway.

You have sold on average less than 2bil per contract, which is fine, but when you are dealing in bulk its not good enough.

Right, multiple scam contracts with the same person probably wouldn't be super safe. If you're selling to a bunch of different people it works better, but you still expose yourself to scrutiny statistically speaking (lets say for example ccp is looking at a few of your buyers for reasons unrelated to you, ,but your name keeps coming up).

That is how botted received one of his 2 bans, he sold isk to a buyer who previously had purchased a very large amount in a stupid way. I think he managed to get the ban removed though.

CCP is watching, don't think otherwise ;)

Yep, one user bought like 55mil isk from someone here. Then came to me for 15bil. The contract that was setup looked more than believable, but CCP had banned me for trading with the user.

I did manage to get it lifted a month later. But thats a long story.

Yeah ccp does look into rmt.

In my experience, you need an excuse and/or the ability to point the finger elsewhere.

Aka when you make a public contract/accept a public contract. Just say, you dont know what is going on. The other party was dumb and accepted, or you were dumb and accept. It was either a successful scam, or a horrid mistake.
They shouldnt* be able to prove intelligence. But again that doesnt stop them from doing what they want.
