Honestly, EVE players always jump on their high horse and bash WoW. Anyone who says WoW is easier I just automatically assume was shit at WoW. They're not any harder than each other, EVE just has a lot more bullshit to memorize.

I mean really. The game is completely made up of right-clicking shit and hitting F1 every once in a while.

There's a bit more to it than that, but yeah.
Solo and small gang fights can be pretty intense.
Especially in frigates.
Fleet action is alotta f1 and following simple orders.
Also every time you play, you risk losing anything and everything you undock with, including your time-invested skillpoints if you are in the right ship, or a bad clone.
Death in WoW is pretty inconsequential in comparison.
In WoW, you can play with the rarest item in the game and die, and you will still have it when you come back.
You lose it all in EVE. How that affects you is dependent on how much ISK you have to replace it.
But ultimately, like any game, its more about the experience you desire and the people you play with than the game itself.

I don't believe WoW will ever have the same amount of choices as EVE, this does not mean that EVE's many choices are more complex as far as understanding how they work.

My problem is that EVE players like to pretend that the game requires you to be a hyper-intelligent in order to understand it and think themselves to be more intelligent than others based on differing choices in video games.

Does eve still hold some random free play weekends, or any resurrection scrolls like wow has?

Probably best if you stick to wow, I feel EVE is too advanced for you.

Quite frankly its sickening. ChiLLon sounds like a narcissistic asshole. You know nothing about him aside from the fact he has an interest in EVE and the fact that he has played WoW before. Get off your high horse. While I support PvP in EVE to the fullest extent, and I love the dog-eat-dog environment, you should treat people interested in the game better, because to be honest, the game won't last without subscribers, and if you scare them away before they install the game, you are killing the ability for the game to continue to exist. By all means, be what most people consider to be a dick, but keep it inside the game.

Word.
You need to be nice to people before they join so you can scoop their corpses later.

Eve is a sandbox mmo with open pvp. Can't really compare it to WoW. I am out of the loop in WOW but at one point the top guilds in PVE were doing 12+ hours a day in raiding when there was new content. That kind of raiding is about focus and on the fly evaluation of the scripted content. The best of best were able to "figure it out" before their competition. They built sophisticated math models for optimizing dps. If you care about flexing your muscles about who plays the more serious "pvp" game go try online poker or trade equities.

Boo freakin' hoo!

I'm sick of people trying to dumb down eve. Play it or don't. EVE does require more intelligence due to the fact that you need to realize what could come out of your choices further down the road. I like that EVE is hard on new players since it roots out the WoW-type people and keep the hardcore players that can actually put up a fight and contribute to the game in a meaningful way. I'm not here to make friends. So many people are dumb enough to not even go through the tutorial, thinking themselves so smart that they can do without it, only to quit few days later because they don't understand what there is to do and they get sick of mining or whatever.

PVE. Enough said. You are comparing a mainly PVE game to a mainly hardcore PVP game.

Nobody is, what we are saying is your an asshole assuming people's ability to play it with little information. You're also providing absolutely no help to the author, you are just being a retarded dick. If you have nothing positive to add to a thread, then stay the fuck out of it. Moron.
