each race has their damage type you can use hardeners or shield resist amps for - only in certain missions will they rarely use a different damage type

important choice for a drake -> choosing a MWD or afterburner, yes MWD is faster but for certain missions you cant afford to have a HUGE signature radius it gives so you have to use a afterburner to increase speed(also reducing damage)
