no, it was a perma jam, no downtime, the instant the ~20 second timer bar would run down, a new one would start. i was not webbed. my drone skills are abysmal atm.

yeah, in the L2's you get a total of 3 jammers tops so you usually get a 20 second window here or there. unfortunately targeting skills are usually still low at that point so you might spend half that getting a lock lol. In the L3's I've had 4 jammers going at once so there's a much better chance of getting locked down for a long time.

think i'll just sit back and train skills for 3 months or so before i dive into more missions. it was just a t2 fit drake but still, for a 2 month old player kinda painful =\

Retard mentality. Pretty sure missions are easy, even with low SP. You're doing something wrong. If you're getting permajammed, then fit an ECCM. Not hard, use your brain please.

on a serious note, the eccm will help. you might still get jammed but it sjould give you some breathing room and a chance to kill the jammers. plus they aren't too expensive and if you are taking a beating from dropping one of the hardeners you can just warp out to refitt after the jammers are gone. i usually keep some alternate mods in my cargo when i have a mission that requires jumps so a refit usually doesn't mean heading back to your home station.

another thing you might want to think about is moving base. Gurista missions are the worst. Not only is it the worst loot/salvage around, the L4 hubs in Caldari space are almost always highly populated and are a target for pretty much every pilot starting out ninja salvaging lol. It's alot of missions invested to get L4's open (if you don't run mission ops with a corp) and before you put in that much work you might want to look at some posts at eve-gate about the best isk/hour mission lines...

Probably died because of this, I don't know if they were cruisers but when I did missions all jammers were frigates and T2 light drones took care of them easily.

So.. train T2 light drones and drone interfacing 4.
