well if it won't count towards buddy then i'll just up my trial the regular way since I don't wanna screw someone out of thier isk too....

You probably don't know why you would need a second account yet, but you could make a 2nd account with the comissioned officer edition, just make a regular 14day trial and use the key, thats 43 days. But multiple accounts is very handy in eve as you will soon find out.

Multiple accounts are sweet, when I played EVE I had 3, 1 for pve money making and 2 for pvp, 1 capital and 1 sub capital. It's hard to do piracy in a good way if you need to be able to enter high sec. Then again, he just started so he first needs to make some isk to be able to support more than 1 account.

I have a 4 year old account thats been closed a long time. think it has maybe 350m isk on it and is trained up to drake for combat, so i'll probably upgrade that with the commissioned officer edition. then i can sell the cerebral accelerator and buy a plex to upgrade the other trial. best of both worlds i guess.


since i'm allready 3-4m sp into a combat career on the first account, should i go mining on the new one?

Mining is useless.

Have one account dedicated for pvp, do not train pve stuff on this account. Take the other account and make it into a mission runner for high sec isk making, that will be your best way of making easy isk, much better than mining. Aim for tengu, that is the ultimate isk maker if you know how to fly and fit it. Don't go mixing shit so early in the game, focuse and get your initial goals done first.

- skills to sit in a tengu , and lvl 4 subs + lvl 5 offensive , defensive and maybe others too if you feel like .
- t2 heavy missile launcher and lvl 4/5 support skills
- t2 tank (including SBA II) - this will give you good shield support skills , aim for at least lvl 4 if not 5 . Tactical shield management = lvl 4 not 5 , always .
- good capacitor skills
- for a focused tengu pilot , 0 drone skills
- while you`re at it , you can put battlecruiser 4 or 5 for a perfect or close to perfect drake , this way you`ll have a dedicated CTA pilot too if you`ll get in a decent corp . Train Drones V , scout drone operation V for t2 light and medium drones , and lvl 4 support skills and gallente drones spec . A decent drone training takes two weeks maximum , in this timeframe you will learn to use t2 light / medium drones with very good support skills .

so i used upped my other account thats been inactive for 3-4 years and found.... i had a big surplus of un-used sp on all three toons, BUT.... and this is a huge but.... the 300m+ isk i had on the account is gone. no idea how that can happen when the account was inactive the whole time, other then some patch or something removing it all and me not being around to put in a petition....
