They're basically saying fuck you, continue gouging with 80 dollar monocles and they still haven't denied having pay 2 win ships and skill points (they denied ammo)

He quoted gold ammo. He didn't mean a literal gold ammo but instead referenced the idea of selling things that would actually have an effect in game play. It is not going to happen. It would destroy the game.

CCP is fairly aware of the detrimental effects of pay-to-win schemes, if they try it they know their game would die, and then they would be out far more.

As far as the monocles are concerned I think they show one of two things, the person in question has it made in the game of eve, or their deep pockets allow them the freedom to buy such things.

Pay-to-win policy sucks, but pay-to-get-shiny-stuff is fine imo, I wouldn't even mind if people could buy shiny golden ships if they have exact stats as original.

Something like that wouldnt be bad ofc.
