i have hard stories about this before as well, seems like someone found a way to delay local chat update for a long period.

Not really that advanced hacking tbh, fairly easy doable, but whats hard about that "hack" is not to be detected, that i have no clue how they do.

Seen a few video's now of people being killed while no one appears in local, even as they are being attacked.

CCP won't say anything confirming an exploit, you'll see a tiny notice at the next patch notes saying "Bugs & exploits fixed" near the bottom...

I suspect if it's an exploit, which looks likely at this point judging from what I've seen, it involves packet sniffing and modification/blocking of packets, similar to what we first started doing in D2..

Silly to do this, CCP will quickly start monitoring it and ban for it.... I think enough attention has been shown on it CCP would be looking into it now... if he keeps it up hes toast.
