Update: A new patch was released today along with a merger of the servers into 1 US server and 1 Europe server. Its an excellent time to start the game as many others are re-rolling their characters to new nations, etc.

The PvP was absolute gangbusters last night I can't wait to get home from work and sink some timber.

If you're even remotely thinking about trying the game now is the freaking time! pm me if interested I'm loving having d2jsp'rs to play with and am thinking that I might even put together a starter society (like a corp) for everyone.

Played the game back on release. ... A good team can make or break your will to play. The PBE is or at least was garbage. Much fun driving ships of the line though...much much fun.

A LOT has changed since then in just about every aspect of the game.. Like Eve you society (corp) can make a big difference but I actually do a fair amount of solo play. I prefer the control of the boats on potbs over ship control in Eve...you have all the evelike controls plus you can control the rudder side to side which adds to the action. Sailing skill isn't tough to grasp but its sometimes the difference between otherwise equally matched players

hey lito toss me 1 of those keys, i beta tested potbs but never wanted to sink 50 bucks into it when it first came out. tried a trial out about 2 months ago and forgot you couldnt get very far with it was maxed in a few hrs but was a great game, especially when u can get a self stable society.

I have set up a small starter society for d2jsp and other new players from which I will help with ships and outfittings. I also know all the leaders of the major spanish societies so I can assist with placing people somewhere that fits them (pvp, rvr, econ, pve, etc there are societies that do it all and some that focus on select facets of the game).
