I realize that the FG have been given away, but the answers in this thread are killing me, so I feel obligated to post.

The best way to make isk with up to 4 characters:
Character 1:
Find a system with avg 40 people in it, and a decent but not overly popular level 3 mission agent.
Place a market skills character in system who can haul, and sell gallente and caldari BC/BS fittings which were bought in Jita for a 50-100% markup to the locals.

Character 2:
Learn to watch local for hostiles/neutrals.
Find a crappy 0.0 corp/alliance and rat.

Character 3:
Get a character who can haul in a cloaked viator or similar transport ship.
Haul fittings and t2/faction ammo to 0.0 and sell it at a 50-100% markup to your crop/alliance mates.

Doing these 3 things should net you over 1b/week, without spending more than 3-4 hours a day. Cut down to 1-2 hours and you're looking at 100m/day at rock bottom.

thanks for the post - i am going to look into these suggestions and may toss some fg your way

i encourage anyone to post if you have ideas this is about makin' isk and all of jsp can benefit from the insight

Get 4 chars to nullsec.

Scan down class 5 wormhole.

Bring in 4 accts

Do anomalies only.

Beats L4s, mining, invention, scamming, all combined.

I have the setup to do this and the secrets, but they don't come free.

One hint though, if you do it wrong, all four of you leave in a pod. If you do it right, no one does, and you all leave several billion richer.

your option on char 3 is really a short role. since you are only gonna be able to dock in npc systems not sov'd systems. and ripping off your alliance buddies is just bullshit

followed by refining with one of ur characters that has perfect refine, and use ur refined shit to manufacture lol tripple whammy, hell even salvage all the rats at the end of ur little outings with one of your characters in a corm o.o
missioning would be a bad idea unless you're mining at the same time, can't see anyone missiong 4 characters at a time sounds intense.

But really the most common one easy one is 3 macks and orca on an ice belt, minimal effort required. unless goonsquad stop by to smart bomb ur little gang of macks sitting on your orca.
