I was thinking about playing eve online. I had a few questions.

Does the game mostly take place with ships?

What is the objective of the game? Pvp? Pve? Just do whatever you want?

It's only ships unless you consider pacing back and forth in your cabin otherwise.

I've only been playing for a little bit and it is an AWESOME game.
It is full PvP but there are different security statuses for different systems. Higher sec systems have more of a concord (npc police) presence. There is also PvE and a complete player run economy. CCP takes little to no intervention within the game, hence the term "the sandbox".

I tried to play it once and was insanely confused, but also the font agitated my eyes, if they were some newb tutorials for it somewhere I would try to play it again >.>

If you are used to playing WoW I would not venture into Eve. It takes a lot more patience because the learning curve is steep. Once you start understanding what you are doing it's a lot better. You can do pvp,pve,or industry. It's all in there. You have a few people in these forums that are very helpful as well to get you started as far as what direction you need to go. Most people here though will not play with you in game because of a fear of getting banned.

Why would we get banned for playing with eachother

It's because most of the people on these forums trade isk for fg and CCP sees that as a sort of RMT which they ban for.

aaaa... thats interesting, because cant you now use plex to buy a graphics card or somehting? seems a lot more relevant to RMT imo
