So I enter my 2nd lvl 3 mission ever, I get perma jammed by 2 x 'security specialists' and am unable to do...anything...can't target, can't warp, PERMA jammed by these 2 ships, all I could do is sit and watch them and their friends chip away at me for about 10 minutes until i popped. I don't understand this game, at all.

what kind of fit are u flying?

was a passive drake. the mission was called cut-throat competition.

Well its not a perma jam because they don't run the stuff all the time. Were you being web'd? Drones are also very useful

You could try fitting a eccm for that particular mission, although you would have to sacrafice a midslot for it. You may of just been very unlucky and the npc got a bunch of lucky jams off on you. Its probability based.

heres a heads up... if you run caldari missions ALWAYS be ready to warp out and grab an eccm (though it won't keep you unjammed all the time it does help) I have had as many as 4-5 jammers pretty much swapping off on me. they have a reduced chance to jam, but it lasts 20 seconds on a 20 second cycle. guristas are the worst for this and you see jammers alot. If you're getting jammed constantly a mid slt is a light enough price to pay...

What ship size was jamming you? Was it a frigate? Cruiser?
