or what would suicide gank a caldari freighter?

thinking of transferring a couple b from null to highsec, null is secure, dunno about highsec.

freighter ganks are rare, you have to have enough in the cargo to actually cover the loss of the 15-20 BS it takes to finish you off

If your just using a freighter to haul battleships/ships then it shouldn't be a problem.
If your hauling a ton of rare salvage/ore/faction mods on the other hand you might want to fly with some logistic's just to be safe

Freighter has to have over 2b in it. I suicide gank with a couple buddies a lot.

I plan on hauling isogen+ with probably 50% in megacyte and zydrine, armor plates, tripped power circuits, and idk. but over 2b? yeah that's gonna be rare lol.

doubt i'd ever have a full freighter full of stuff.

also, can freighters autopilot or do they need fuel?

30-50mil per BS loss after insurance, 10-15 BS can do it easily = 750mil loss max, loot needs to cover the loss and then there needs to be a profit.

They are just a big industrial that can't fit any mods. AP yes, Fuel no (unless you mean a JF)

but a jf got more ehp as a normal freighter or iam wrong ? so what would u need too gank a jf ?

1. assuming the cargo drops 100% , which it won`t happen . No serious gankers will attept a gank without 2++++ b worth of junk . 95% of time , there won`t be a freighter gank unless they got a protip that someone will move valuable stuff , else they won`t have enaugh time to gather 15 BS .

2. JF doesn`t require fuel when they jump through gates , they need fuel only when jump through a cyno .

like do you mean would someone have a lower collateral then what they are asking to be hauled? I doubt it, but you could always risk it and find out

no, when you courier package yourself a group of items, even with a cargo scanner you can't peer inside it.
