Yes, only 1 server.

We are usually 20k-40k online.

And its not only.

Its alot.

Guess it just doesnt seem like that many people.... pretty sure diablo has a ton more then that and thats super old..

Im just contemplating getting back into it, I never got very far only like 5 new ships and didnt get too much into it. The people I talk to say you have to get pretty far in before it starts becoming enjoyable

There are unreleased closed beta games that have more players than EvE even when EvE has 100% of its players online

Sure theres more players in other games, just I bet you'd be hard pressed to find one where they all play on the same server and theres battles with 700-1700 people together fighting at once. ;-)

One of eve's main attractions is the single server, you can play with anyone who plays eve, don't have to worry about if your on the right server.

Yeah I was thinkin about it later like for WoW there are a TON more players but like im sure each server doesnt have 20k people on at once like eve

i think youd be lucky to get 1500 people on a server at once, and you can't so easily switch between them, so if a friend plays too chances are you can't/won't play together. Whereas on Eve if a friend plays you can always play together.

Thats the point.

You wont find 500+ vs 500+ on a WoW server.

Sure they have 100+ servers.

But in EVE you play with all at the same time.

Besides 40000 online in 1 server is alot.

Warhammer has realm vs realm, and yeah huge battles are cool, but in EvE it's mostly dots on a screen that you just turn your guns on at and wait for them to die, or blob in so many ships that the node crashes

Eve is awesome, lot of eve players on potbs and vice versa...i think pvp in pirates is better while eve has the sheer grandeur of the large pop single server
