As the topic says, I am currently downloading the game right now and setting up the 14 day trial account. I'm just looking for any tips on starting out if u guys dont mind

make sure u can afford to spend time training for a couple months before u are good

Don't give up too easily. There will be sometimes when you're just starting that seem like you are going no where. After a while, training will go by like nothing and it seems so easy. The more you play, the better the game can get.

to be honest 0.0 is safer imo than low sec. but maybe thats just cause im in goonfleet.

Best advice I can give you, is use the trial to learn to play (and maybe a month or two after that), then buy an account. The skill system is very frustrating to new players, and buying a decently skilled pilot from someone else makes the game experience a LOT better in the early days. Training learning skills is brutal.
