better leave your 30 lvl at rook and make new char and go at lvl 8 to main
Vouch, since a level 30 missed a lot of his vocational HP/MANA gain per level. For instance, if you were to become a mage..
You get 5 mana/level at rook, but at main as mage you get 30 mana/level.. You missed 22*(30-5) total mana if you become a mage now.
Paladins are distance based. Trolls drop spears. If you're free account, the troll cave next to the dwarven bridge should be sufficient for training
Usually empty, so try and hunt there full def with a scale set (soldier helmet, dwarven shield, etc, this all should cost you about 500-700 gp).
Make sure you have spells like exura. Buy about 5 spears, head for the cave and don't get out untill your cap is like, 5 :D!
Everytime a spear breaks you should already have found like 10 other spears in those useless trolls.
Once your distance fighting is 55 (the absolute minimum in my opinion) you can start hunting in full attack. Now is the time to level like madmadmad

At level 25, ask P acc friends (or if you have one ask yourself :D) to get royal spears. They deal much more damage.
You should stay at the trolls for, say, level 15 or untill your dist fighting reaches 55.
After this, it's good for paladins to head out to the rotworm cave in deeper fib: You'll need the fibula key (800 gp).
Hope that's ... valuable help
