1; Yes you can get looted by whoever killed you, with one exception. If you wear an amulet of life your equipment and inventory will be safe with you once you respawn. The only time that an amulet of life won't function is when you have a red skull. You gain a red skull by exceeding the amount of unjustified kills. The skull system is an automatic system that bans people if they exceed a certain amount of kills in a certain amount of time.
2: If you attack a character, you are unable to log out for a minute or two. If you get the last hit you're stuck online for 15 minutes, often giving the victim and his friends enough time to gather, track you down and get even.
3: Correct, no level limit. Although at the higher levels it would take a lot of time. For instance my level 233 knight would need about 20 hours of constant hunting to get another level, hardly worth it.
If you have any plans on starting playing Tibia at all, I must advice against it. The only thing they got going for them is the chat system and community. But even the community is getting worse as the average age is very low and most of the time they can't even speak proper english.
Oh I forgot to add, Tibia is very time consuming.
